SOUNDER COMMUTER TRAIN
Tacoma Dome Station — ¾ mile from J|F
The Sounder commuter train provides quick trips between cities throughout the Seattle/Tacoma metropolitan area, improving commutes, limiting traffic and lowering carbon emissions during the region's most popular travel times. Its route spans all the way from Lakewood (to the south) and many more stations to the north, including Puyallup, Sumner, Auburn, Kent, Tukwila, Downtown Seattle, Edmonds, Mukilteo and Everett. Additional service is also provided around many special events.
LINK LIGHT RAIL
Tacoma Dome Station — ¾ mile from J|F
Sound Transit offers a Link Light Rail route specifically for Tacoma, called the T Line, providing frequent daily stops throughout the city. Starting at the Tacoma Dome station nearest to Jefferson Flats, riders can travel along the scenic waterfront, to the beautifully historic Union Station, through various stops downtown and to the major medical centers along MLK Jr. Way.
AMTRAK PASSENGER TRAINS

When adventure is calling a bit further from home, Amtrak a unique travel experience with destinations near and far. Two passenger train options pass through the Puget Sound area with stops in Tacoma: the traditional, European-style Amtrak Cascades with multiple departures daily, and the two-story superliner Coast Starlight with extra amenities like sleeper cars, a traditional dining car and a Sightseer Lounge. Although the Starlight only runs once per day, its route spans nearly the entire west coast, from Seattle to Los Angeles. The Cascades runs from Eugene, Oregon to Vancouver, B.C. — start your day at J|F and end in another state (or country), with additional connections throughout North America.
